The Mission - Luxe Magazine is a publication seeking to attract world travelers to Eastern Asia's luxury wellness resorts. Luxe is a high-end brand, so the publication needed to reflect that standard both visually and grammatically.
The Challenge - The question we had to answer was "How can this publication help the brand gain new members and create member loyalty?" Additionally, we needed to identify content that spoke to the reader's interests.
The Outcome - The publication features key articles on resort and spa amenities for Waldorf Astoria Maldives, Zulal Wellness Resort Qatar, and Six Senses Fort Barwara. An advertisement precedes the resort spread, offering an exclusive discount only for Luxe readers to entice loyalty to Luxe. A wellness-focused article related to the resort's locale follows the ad. The preliminary process involved image selection, page layout ideas, typography choices, and master page preparation. Creating grids and guides, utilizing master slides and setting up paragraph and character styles made rendering the design a much smoother process.
